STATEMENT

In my art practice I translate immaterial experiences of sensation, emotions and behaviour into physical form. The process of writing gives rise to personal experiences that underlie and motivate my actions in the studio. Drawing is a critical tool for mapping out ideas and emotions through and immediate and exploratory process. My sculptures and drawings evokes human gesture while narrative based titles invite identification within the viewer. Ultimately it is my hope to reflect on contemporary social experiences.
